Terms of Service
Terms for accessing and using the ENTRANCE website, mobile app and content.
Last updated: 14 July 2026
Pre-launch status: these terms contain the substantive rules intended for the ENTRANCE website and mobile app. The legal operator, business address and governing-law details must be inserted before public launch. Until then, this page is not a substitute for those required operator details.
1. Who provides the service
ENTRANCE is the service name used for an independent motorsport media, information and data platform. The official contact address is hello@entrancesports.com. The individual or legal entity responsible for operating ENTRANCE will be identified on this page before the service is publicly launched.
2. Acceptance and related policies
These Terms of Service apply to the ENTRANCE website, mobile app, public data pages and related editorial content (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using a publicly released version of the Service, a user agrees to these terms. The Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Disclaimer and Editorial Policy also apply where relevant. A user who does not agree should not use the Service.
3. Eligibility
A person must be legally able to agree to these terms in the place where they live. A person who has not reached the applicable age of legal capacity may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. ENTRANCE is not directed specifically at children.
4. What ENTRANCE provides
ENTRANCE provides Formula 1 and motorsport schedules, standings, results, statistics, guides, records and editorial context. The current Service does not provide user accounts, paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, betting, ticketing, live timing or an official emergency or safety service.
5. Limited permission to use the Service
Subject to these terms, ENTRANCE grants users a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to access and use the Service for lawful personal and informational purposes. This permission does not transfer ownership of ENTRANCE content, software, branding or data presentation.
6. ENTRANCE content and intellectual property
ENTRANCE branding, original articles, original graphics, page layouts, software, data structure and editorial presentation may be protected by copyright, trademark or other rights. They may not be copied, republished, sold, licensed, framed or commercially exploited without permission, except where applicable law allows it. Brief quotations may be used where lawful and where ENTRANCE is clearly credited.
7. Formula 1 and third-party rights
ENTRANCE is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by Formula One Management, Formula 1, FIA, F1 teams, circuits, drivers or championship organisers. Formula 1 names, event names, team names, driver names, trademarks, images and logos belong to their respective rights holders. References are used for editorial identification and informational context and do not claim ownership of third-party rights.
8. Motorsport data
Motorsport data may be collected, structured, calculated, normalised, summarised or displayed for editorial and informational purposes. Data pages may include coverage notes, estimates, derived values or documented historical exceptions. Schedules, classifications, standings and statistics may be incomplete, delayed, corrected or unavailable. Time-critical or official decisions must be checked against an official championship, organiser or event source.
Access to a public ENTRANCE JSON file does not grant ownership of underlying third-party facts, trademarks or protected material. Automated access must not impose an unreasonable load, bypass technical restrictions or interfere with availability.
9. App storage, permissions and reminders
The mobile app may store favourites, settings, cached motorsport data and reminder preferences on the user's device. It may request notification permission when a user enables reminders. Reminders depend on source data, time-zone conversion, device settings and operating-system behaviour, and delivery is not guaranteed. App reminders do not replace an official event schedule.
10. Acceptable use
A user must not:
- use the Service unlawfully or in a way that infringes another person's rights;
- attempt to disrupt, damage, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- bypass access controls, security measures or published technical limits;
- introduce malicious code, automated abuse or deceptive traffic;
- misrepresent ENTRANCE content as official Formula 1 material or falsely imply endorsement; or
- remove copyright, trademark, source, coverage or correction notices.
11. Feedback and communications
If a user voluntarily sends a suggestion, correction or other feedback, ENTRANCE may use it to review and improve the Service without an obligation to adopt it or pay compensation. This does not transfer ownership of material that the sender does not have the right to provide. Personal information in communications is handled under the Privacy Policy.
12. Third-party services and links
The Service may link to or rely on third-party websites, app stores, device platforms, email providers, hosting services and data infrastructure. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A link or technical connection does not mean that ENTRANCE controls, endorses or guarantees the third-party service.
13. No professional advice
The Service is provided for general information and editorial context. It is not legal, financial, betting, medical, safety or other professional advice. Users are responsible for decisions they make based on the Service.
14. Availability, updates and corrections
ENTRANCE may add, correct, update, restrict, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service. Continuous, secure, error-free or uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. An app update may be required to continue using some features. ENTRANCE may correct previously published content or data without preserving an incorrect version in the live Service.
15. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ENTRANCE does not guarantee that all content is accurate, complete, current, suitable for a particular purpose or free from interruption or harmful components. Nothing in these terms excludes a guarantee or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ENTRANCE will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from reliance on editorial content, delayed or incorrect data, missed reminders, device settings, third-party services or interruption of the Service. This limitation does not apply where responsibility cannot lawfully be limited, including where applicable law provides mandatory consumer protections.
17. Suspension and termination
ENTRANCE may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, rights holders or infrastructure; respond to unlawful or abusive activity; or comply with a legal obligation. A user may stop using the Service at any time and may remove locally stored app information by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.
18. Changes to these terms
ENTRANCE may update these terms when the Service, business model or applicable requirements change. The latest revision date will appear at the top of this page. Where a change materially affects users, ENTRANCE will provide additional notice where reasonably practical or legally required. Continued use after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Consumer rights
These terms do not remove mandatory rights available under applicable consumer, privacy or other law. If a provision conflicts with a mandatory right, that right prevails to the extent of the conflict.
20. General terms
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms and the policies linked above form the agreement concerning use of the Service, subject to any mandatory terms imposed by an app store or applicable law.
21. Governing law and disputes
The governing law, legal operator and dispute venue will be stated before public launch based on the operator's location and the markets in which ENTRANCE is offered. This information must not be inferred from the website language, domain name or contact address.
22. Contact
Terms questions, correction requests and rights-holder notices can be sent to hello@entrancesports.com.
